Last night, after our own event in Charlotte, we attended a reception over in Gaston County for State Senate candidate and our good friend Kathy Harrington. Thought you would enjoy some of the photos. Kathy should win the seat, replacing the retiring Sen. David Hoyle, putting that seat firmly on the Republican side of the aisle.

Last week we held a town hall meeting in Waxhaw. Good turnout on a very hot night. Excellent questions and solid conversations. Sue was welcomed to the stage by Waxhaw mayor Daune Gardner. Enquirer Journal covered the event on the front page the following morning.
